Pre-Beginner’s & Rescue Classes

registration has confirmed in order for the registration to be complete.

Pre-Beginners is recommended for those whose puppies who have graduated the Puppy class or for Puppies closer to 4 and 6 months of age.  Older puppies and young dogs should be considered for pre-beginner if they are rescued or have not had formal obedience training.  Completing Puppy Class is NOT a requirement for Pre-Beginners. Pre-Beginners can be repeated while you are waiting for the next Beginners session.  The class establishes desirable behaviors like walking on a loose leash, sit and down, wait at gates and doors, go to place and “leave it”. It also teaches how to redirect undesirable habits like jumping and begging. Handling exercises make Vet visits and grooming a joy.  Socializing helps develop skills to get along with other people and dogs.  Obedience exercises will be introduced making future training a breeze.

• All Handlers must be at least 14 years old.
